The AIR FLOW Backward Curve Centrifugal Fan (AFBD series, DIDW/SISW and belt-driven types) uses backward-curved blades to move air efficiently while minimizing noise and energy consumption, handling higher static pressures and operating speeds than the Forward Curve model. Sizes range from 315 to 1400 mm diameter, offering air performance up to 250,000 CMH (DIDW) or 80,000 CMH (SISW), with static pressure up to 450 mm Wg – roughly double the Forward Curve fan’s 220 mm Wg ceiling. Commonly used in HVAC systems, dust collection, and fume extraction where reliable, powerful, high-pressure airflow is essential.
