The NewAge Bib Nose Type Pressure Regulating Valve maintains uniform firefighting pressure at any hydrant in a fire protection system, regardless of its location – unlike the standard Bib Nose Type Landing Valve, which is a simple on/off hydrant valve with no pressure control function. Efficient pressure regulation is unaffected by inlet pressure differences that occur at varying flow levels, eliminating the need for expensive relief piping systems and reducing installation costs. The regulator can be adjusted in-situ to meet individual floor-level pressure requirements in multi-storey buildings.
