Description
The NewAge Grooved Type Butterfly Valve connects to grooved-end pipe via simple couplings and gaskets rather than flanges, installing faster and making downstream pipe replacement easier – unlike the Wafer Type, which needs the system shut down and drained for installation. Groove standard to ANSI/AWWA C606 or Metric Standard, with a clear waterway design in sizes 2″ through 12″. UL listed and FM approved, rated for 300 PSI maximum working pressure and tested to 600 PSI for 1 minute, conforming to UL1091 and FM 1112. Ductile iron body with an EPDM-encapsulated ductile iron disc, ISO 5211 top flange standard, and epoxy coating (or coating on request). Rated for 0-80°C (32-176°F) operation, suited to indoor and outdoor use in high-rise and industrial fire protection systems.
