Description
The NewAge Pressure Restricting Valve limits outlet pressure to a fixed setting, available in 1.5″ (F) NPT x 1.5″ (M) NST/NH or 2.5″ (F) NPT x 2.5″ (M) NST/NH configurations. Unlike the Controlled Pressure Hydrant Valve, which uses a flanged inlet at fixed 1.5″ or 2.5″ NB sizes, the Pressure Restricting Valve uses NPT threaded connections throughout. Both function to prevent excess pressure at hydrant outlets in high-rise systems, but differ in connection type and sizing options.
