The Honeywell (FEMA) Ex-VCM/Ex-VNM Negative Pressure Switches are the explosion-proof variant of the standard VCM/VNM vacuum switch series, for use in hazardous areas. Certified SIL2 per IEC 61508-2, ATEX 2014/34/EU (IBExU12ATEX1040), and IECEx IBE 14.0077 – certifications the standard VCM/VNM series doesn’t carry. Detects pressure difference relative to atmospheric pressure, calibrated for falling pressure like the standard series, with a robust seawater-resistant die-cast aluminium housing.
