Description

The Honeywell TS-3100-CI Series Thermowell is a 2-part thermowell made of 304 stainless steel for long-lasting reliability, protecting a temperature sensor’s sensing element when installed inside a pipe, tank, or piece of equipment carrying gas or liquid media. Machined to high tolerance so there’s no gap between the thermowell sheath and the sensor probe, maximizing heat transfer to the sensor. The sheath is set into the nut and automated TIG welded for a strong joint. Thermowells let the temperature sensor be removed and replaced without draining the system, and protect the sensor from stresses caused by high temperature, high pressure, corrosive media, or fluid flow. Available in multiple lengths (e.g. 2.5in, 4in) with 1/2in NPT female/male process connections.
