Honeywell Butterfly Valves include the VR Series Resilient Seat Butterfly Valves (general HVAC water service) and the VH Series ANSI 150 Class High Performance Butterfly Valves (VH2 through VH8, for demanding applications needing tighter shutoff and higher pressure ratings). Compatible with VR and VH Series replacement actuators for retrofit projects. Unlike ball valves’ spherical closure or globe valves’ linear disc, butterfly valves use a rotating disc for quarter-turn on/off or throttling control, offering a more compact, lightweight body for large pipe diameters.
