The Kartar DI Single Chamber Air Release Valve (K-549 type) is built in Ductile Iron with Flanged ends to PN-16, combining single chamber, double orifice, triple action operation with fusion bonded epoxy coating – unlike the Cast Iron single-orifice variants (Screwed/Flanged), which handle only continuous small-volume release. Triple action design releases large volumes of air during pipe filling, allows continuous small-volume release during operation, and admits air during draining to prevent vacuum damage.
