The Kartar Bronze Y-Type Strainer, Screwed (K-612) has screwed female ends in a Brass/Bronze body – a lighter-duty alternative to the Cast Iron Y-Type Strainer (K-105). Rated for 250 PSIG (17.58 Kg/cm2) working steam pressure, tested to 500 PSIG (35.15 Kg/cm2) hydrostatic – a higher hydrostatic test rating than the Cast Iron variant’s 370 PSIG, despite the lighter bronze construction.
