Description

Honeywell PIBC Valves (Pressure Independent Balanced Control, VPI/VRN Series) combine flow limiting and control valve functions in one body, designed for use in variable and constant flow systems. Used without an actuator, the valve acts as a constant flow limiter in constant-flow systems; with an actuator and temperature control connected, it becomes a full Pressure Independent Control Valve (PICV) for variable-flow systems. Typically used for balancing and temperature control of fan coil units, air handling units, chilled ceilings, and one-pipe heating systems, eliminating the need for separate balancing valves. VPI Series available in DN15-50 female threaded (ISO) sizes, with or without pressure test ports, saving energy through optimal control and lower flow/pump pressure.
