Description

The Kartar Ball Type Foot Valve uses a ball-check mechanism at the base of a suction pipe, permitting flow in one direction into the pump while preventing the pipe from draining back down when the pump stops – unlike disc-type foot valves (Single/Double Disc Design), which use a hinged flap instead of a ball. The ball design offers a simpler, self-centering seal that works well in vertical suction line installations submerged in a water source.
