Description
The Kartar Butterfly Valve, Double Flanged, Eccentric Disk offsets the disc pivot from the valve centerline, reducing seat friction and wear during operation compared to the Centric Disk variant – allowing higher pressure ratings, tighter shutoff, and a longer service life at the cost of a more complex design. Double flanged ends bolt directly into the pipeline. Suited to higher-duty applications where the Centric Disk’s economical design isn’t sufficient.
