Description

The Honeywell MS Two-Position Actuator is designed for use in Smoke Control Systems – a fast-acting on/off actuator distinct from the modulating/floating MSxx10/MSxx20 spring return models. Driven by an SPST two-position controller, the actuator drives to fully open when the controller contact makes and spring-returns to fully closed (0°) when the contact breaks or on power failure. Drives from 0° to 95°, mounts flush with the damper box, and drops to a holding power level on stall detection independent of hub position. Reversible mounting allows use in either clockwise or counterclockwise spring rotation. Designed to operate reliably in smoke control systems requiring UL555S ratings.
