Sant’s IS-7 Bronze Gate Valve is a Class-3 design to IS-778:1971 (Non-ISI, unlike the ISI-marked Class-1/Class-2 range) – the highest pressure rating in Sant’s basic bronze gate valve line, non-rising stem, leaded tin bronze (IS:318 Gr.LTB2) body/bonnet/wedge, forged brass stem, integral seat, solid wedge, PTFE gland packing, screwed female ends to IS:554. Body test pressure 50 kg/cm2 hydraulic, seat test 40 kg/cm2 hydraulic – notably higher than Class-2’s 2.4/1.6 MPa. Max working temperature 45 degC. Available DN15 to DN50 (1/2″ to 2″) – a narrower size range than Class-1/Class-2, reflecting its higher-pressure specialty use.
