Description

Sant’s SBM-2 Bronze Gate Valve uses Sant’s Standard pattern body (vs SBM-1’s more compact Peglar pattern), in the same leaded tin bronze (IS:318 Gr.LTB2) body/bonnet/wedge/gland construction with a forged brass stem (IS:6912 FLB), screwed-in bonnet, non-rising stem, integral seat, and solid wedge. Gland packing is expanded pure flexible graphite, ends screwed female BSP to BS 21. Rated PN-20 (30.60 kg/cm2g body test, 20.40 kg/cm2g seat test) – same pressure rating as SBM-1, but the Standard pattern’s larger body gives more installation clearance in tight screwed-pipe runs.
