Sant’s SBM-16 Bronze Union Bonnet Horizontal Lift Check Valve is built to IS:778 Class 2, PN25, with a screwed-on union cover (rather than a screwed-in cover) for easier internal access and servicing without disturbing the pipe connection. Leaded tin bronze (IS:318 Gr.LTB2) body/bonnet/union nut, renewable seat and disc in AISI-410 stainless steel, screwed female BSP parallel ends to BS 21. Body test pressure 42 kg/cm2g (600 psig) hydraulic, seat test 25 kg/cm2g (355 psig) hydraulic – notably higher than the basic IS-14 series. Works test certificate furnished with every supply.
