Description

The Kartar Air Release Valve, CI Single Orifice, Flanged connects via flanged ends rather than screw threads – unlike the Screwed variant. Cast Iron body, single orifice design for continuous small-volume air release during normal operation, releasing air during charging and admitting air during emptying of water main lines. Available from 15mm to 50mm. Flange dimensions as per ANSI B16.1. Body test pressure 1.5 MPa (hydraulic), seat test pressure 1.0 MPa.
