The Kartar Air Release Valve, CI Single Orifice, Screwed connects via screw threads rather than flanges – unlike the Flanged variant. Cast Iron body, single orifice design for continuous small-volume air release during normal operation, releasing air during charging and admitting air during emptying of water main lines. Available from 15mm to 50mm. Body test pressure 1.5 MPa (hydraulic), seat test pressure 1.0 MPa.
