Sant’s CI-14 Cast Iron Gate Valve upgrades on the CI-13 with gun metal wear parts: body seat rings, wedge, gland and gland nut are gun metal (IS:318 Gr.LTB2) with a renewable seat, rather than an integral cast-iron seat, and the stem is forged brass (IS:6912 FLB) instead of mild steel – giving longer service life on the wearing surfaces. Body and bonnet remain cast iron (IS:210 Gr.FG200), clamped bonnet, inside screw, rising stem, solid wedge disc, with expanded pure flexible graphite gland packing and screwed female BSP parallel ends to BS 21. Body test pressure 300 psig hydraulic, steam test pressure 200 psig hydraulic, works test certificate furnished with every supply. Available 15mm to 80mm (1/2″ to 3″).
