Description

Sant’s DP-1A Dual Plate Wafer Check Valve is a cast iron, spring-loaded design with two spring-hinged SS304 (CF8) disc plates and an EPDM rubber body seat lining, for a lower-profile, lighter-weight alternative to a single-disc wafer valve at the same PN-16 rating – the dual plates close faster with less water hammer. Hinge pin and stop pin in AISI-420 stainless, spring in AISI-304, PTFE bush/bearing. Wafer type for clamping between ASME B16.5 Class-150 flanges. Body test pressure 24 kg/cm2, seat test 16 kg/cm2. Available DN50 to DN400 (2″ to 16″) – the widest size range of any check valve in Sant’s wafer-type line.
